Our refurbishment lab is our own and it is here. Instruments are stripped, rebuilt, tested and chromatography-verified in San Diego before they are listed, and they ship anywhere in the United States free of charge.
For a buyer, not much, and that is the point. Every listing carries photographs of the actual unit and a verification run from our bench, so a system is a known quantity whether you are twenty minutes away or three time zones out.
For a seller it changes a great deal. A lab closing or consolidating in Southern California is the simplest kind of collection we do, and de-installation, crating and insured freight are handled by our team either way.
The lab itself is the part worth caring about. It is ours, in house, and it is where the work happens. No third-party refurbishment shop sits between what we inspect and what we sell.
