Our refurbishment process

Six steps between intake and your bench

Every instrument passes through the same documented sequence in our in-house laboratory, no third-party refurb shops, no "powers on, sold as seen."

01
Intake & audit

Serial-verified receipt, configuration logged, incoming condition documented.

02
Inspection

Every system is given a full diagnostic pass against the manufacturer's own service procedures, and any worn assemblies are identified at that stage.

03
Repair to working order

Cleaning, part replacement and rebuild until the system meets spec, genuine parts.

04
NIST-traceable calibration

Calibrated in-house; NIST-traceable certificate available with every system.

05
Performance testing

Sensitivity, mass accuracy and reproducibility runs logged before release, test data available on request.

06
90-day warranty

Parts & labor, in writing. Installation and training available on delivery.

The three condition tiers we quote

RefurbishedDisassembled, cleaned, wear items replaced, tested to spec, and warrantied.
TestedPowers on, verified functional.
As-IsSold untested, as received, priced accordingly.

"If a seller can't show test data, that's a red flag."

A rule from the trade, and why we log and share ours. Ask for the test data on any listing.

The lab behind it

One lab, under our roof

Refurbishment, calibration and testing happen in-house, operating to ISO 17025 standards, which is why we can put a 90-day parts & labor warranty in writing where the market standard is 30 days.
