Description
AB SCIEX Triple Quad 5500 LC-MS/MS system, serial BB23981204, assembly number 1033104 revision AH, manufactured in Singapore. It is supplied complete rather than as a mass spectrometer on its own: the instrument, the Shimadzu HPLC front end, the Shimadzu CBM communication bus module that lets Analyst drive the liquid chromatograph, and an acquisition computer with Analyst 1.6.3 preinstalled. That version of Analyst operates without a separate licence, so the software does not have to be re-bought or transferred with the instrument. The system came out of a laboratory that held it under a comprehensive SCIEX service agreement for the entire time it owned it, with regular factory preventive maintenance under that program; the service reports themselves are not available for release. It is inspected and verified by our own engineers before it leaves us, and the verification data goes out with the unit.
